If you are a Port City local, you have certainly been asked to recommend a food item that is quintessentially “Southern,” with a heavy emphasis on North Carolina. So what do Wilmington foodies put on their list of favorite North Carolina foods?
We spent hours asking friends what foods they would include in a survey of the best of Wilmington. We listened to debates along the lines of, “No, that’s from Brunswick Georgia,” and “hmmmm, that’s more a South Carolina thing.” We did our best. Want to add something or weigh in?
