Wilmington Wine features specialty mimosas every Sunday, starting at noon. John Willse, proprietor, offers a variation that solves the conundrum “mimosa or bloody mary.”

John Willse’s Bloody Mary Mimosa

Fill a flute 1/2 full with brut champagne (dry)

Pour in Texas Pete’s Bloody Mary Mix leaving space for these additions:

1 teaspoon horseradish
2 dashes each Berg & Hauck’s celery bitters, Creole bitters, and aromatic bitters
2 dashes Tasbasco
Sprinkle coarse pink salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Garnish with your choice of pimento olive, pickled okra, green been, etc
Don’t forget the bacon!

Pro tip: find Berg & Hauck’s bitters at Wilmington Wine.
