Wilmington’s Favorite Mimosas: We Asked, They Shared

At the C.W. Worth House, hosts Margi and Doug Erickson serve classic mimosas, and make them extra special to celebrate the holiday of Love, Valentine’s Day. Mimosas at the Worth House are freshly squeezed orange juice and Champagne, with a splash of Grand Marnier or Triple Sec for the finishing touch. Margi prefers to use Prosecco, which is a little lighter and sweeter. Other juices work equally well, like peach or kiwi-strawberry.
To make 1 mimosa cocktail: In a champagne flute, combine 1/3 cup chilled sparkling wine, 1/3 cup chilled orange juice and 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier or Triple Sec.
