It’s In-the-Books: International StreetFood Challenge

For me to say one dish was better than another was like someone trying to say which of their kids they love the most. I can’t do it. Nor will I. Mostly because I can’t decide but what I CAN say is that each of these extremely talented chefs represented themselves and their businesses in an exemplary manner and are a glaring example of the types of culinary talent we have in the Port City. Try their restaurants, eat their food. Maybe YOU can decide who’s best but I certainly can’t. All I want to do is go back to each of their restaurants and relive this day and these dishes …in the air conditioning.

Mad props to the International StreetFood Challenge organizer, Chef Jeffrey Porter, Of Port City Pop-ups. He pulled together an awesome group of Wilmington chefs, sourced equipment and supplies, and wrangled the crowd of 100+ judges.
